What's this?
This part of the free to part guide / journal covers the last world in the game – stages 251 +. You can see what this is all about in the introduction page or in the video below. You can jump to the other parts by using the shortcuts.
Some shortcuts 🙂
Surtr Down! Time for world 6!
I used the same gear as on 249 and an SS All Stats buff + food.
It’s crazy that we can now beat him with such cheap gear – before world 6 was released we had a lot of +10 items and still no one could defeat him.
It took me less than 6 months to get here and now it should be even faster since there was not Super Crafting, no runes and we had higher prices when I started out.
Stage 251 - 255
They are all easier than 250 so i just breezed up to 255. At that point, i had to level up a bit and use some food.
256 is way harder so I will need to make some upgrades if I want to move further.
Crafting War Sword Fodder
I needed a ton of crystals to unlock the recipe for the sword and i had no more war belts to grind on my alt. So i just bought some using the Pandora interface -that is actually way cheaper than buying items to grind unless you have over 5k NCG staked.
I will probably buy more crystals so that I can use them to craft swords – it’s usually profitable to just farm the basic material and buy a part of the cubes with crystals.
New Sword and Ring
I sold my old +7 Guardian spell ring and I decided to try and push to stage 260 since at char level 270 i could use Wind Gear. After multiple simulation with Pandora I got a +3 Land War Sword with 3 stars and a Land War Ring.
Stages 256-258
With the new sword and ring i’ve beaten 256 to 258 in just one AP bar without any food and buffs. It seems like 259 it pretty tough but I can get 4 experience on it for now so I will level up some more before i decide my next step. I am temped to buy a Land belt at the moment.
Stage 259
I managed to beat 259 with the same gear by using the new event food + crit food. That brings me one stage close to using wind gear.
Made my sword +4
I decided to use the basic war swords that i’ve been crafting to upgrade my sword to +4. I could have sold them for around 80 NCG but I could not think of a better upgrade for that amount so I just went with it.
Bought a Wind ring --> stage 263
The extra defense on the ring makes such a big difference that I can do just fine without the spell rings. I beat 260 and 261 easily. Stage 262 took plenty of tries but it went down without any food.
I can get 1 star on 263 and sometime even 2, but I will sweep it for a while to level up and will think of what to upgrade to try to get 2 stars most of the time.
Wind ring + 2 --> stage 265
I crafted some rings and I used them to upgrade the wind ring to +2. The extra defense made enough difference for me to beat 263 and 264 without any food or buffs.
Stage 265 is way harder so I will just be farming war chest materials and slowly craft my way to a super craft.
Got a Wind chest
It’s not way better in the campaign since I am losing the spell but the extra 20k health would make the arena way easier. It was fairly cheap so I will use it until I get to craft the fire chest super craft.
Arena season 9 - top 200
This was a very comfortable season for this character. I even lost a full round and still got into top 200 with buying just 2 tickets. Top 100 would be possible with buying a lot of tickets but it doesn’t make financial sense.
After the rewards will come I might be able to buy an upgrade and progress a bit more.
I am going to Super craft a War Fire Chest
I’ve been doing plenty of simulations and I feel like this is the best thing I can do to push some extra stages with minimal costs.
I am going to craft 20 basic War chests and hope that the Super Craft will be a decent 4 star one.
While I do this, i will sell my first 5 chests and save the other 15 so I can make the super craft +4 as soon as I get it.
This is going to take a while so if you have the funds I’d recommend you to buy a 4 star one from the start / as soon as you can equip it and save yourself a lot of time.
Nope 🙂
After all the waiting my super craft turned out pretty useless. Defense was the stat I needed the most so I just bought the best one I could afford from the market.
This bad luck took me back a lot but the prices went down a lot too so it’s not that bad overall – I should be able to make some more progress anyway.
Arena season 10 - top 200 again
I didn’t buy any tickets and I didn’t even fight too late overall. I feel like I could push for top 100 with enough tickets but that would make no sense financially – it would cost more than what I earn extra.
Stages 265 - 269
I upgraded my new chest to +4 and I managed to beat 265 with just food (health and crit, like always). 266, 267 and 268 went down just by trying for a few times, no buffs or food required. Looks like I have a tiny chance to beat 269 too with food but it makes no sense to waste it like that, I will just get stronger and beat it later on.
The good part is that I made some progres. The bad part is that is not really helping with anything 😛
The challenge is now to somehow reach the normal gear, especially rings. Since I have the spell chest now, I will try to get some more defense so I will be crafting rings and make a wind one +4.
Bought a new wind ring
My current ring is pretty low so I think that spending an extra 18 NCG for a better one before I spend all the resources to make it +4 makes a lot of sense.
I will try to sell my old +2 wind ring but looking at how cheap the low rolls have become I will most likely end up using it as fodder for the new one.
It will take me around 2 weeks to craft all the missing fodder. Btw, I am crafting water rings even if they have longer timers because this way I can also level up a bit while I gather the materials.
Bought a new wind sword
This might not look like the best move but after doing way too many simulations using all sort of gears I am fairly confident that I can make it to the normal gear after I +4 this new sword and the ring.
The sword is actually a pretty crap roll but hey, we are poor and trying to move fast too, so let’s hope this works! One with speed + lower attack would have worked a bit better for the arena but I care about the campaign now and as far as the simulations show, they both work just fine and this one was way cheaper.
I bought all the fodder for it since the prices are rather low. After the arena rewards will be distributed and after I finish a few more rings I should make a lot of progress at once.
I also hope to sell my old sword and recover some of the NCG spent on the new one (60 for the sword, 90 for the fodder and 40 for the upgrade = 190 NCG…).
Sword +4 -> easy stage 273
The new sword worked just as I expected. I managed to beat stage 269 to 273 without using any food or buffs, just trying a bit on each.
I used the old hit ring on 269 and 270 and after that I remembered that I had my old +2 wind ring on the market – and it turns out it was actually giving me better results so I used it for the next 3 stages.
Stage 273 will go down too with a crystal buff but I am in no rush – I am only character level 277 so I need to catch up with that anyway.
The good part is that I will be able to use Non-Elemental (normal) Legendary Necks as soon as I level up to 283 so it’s pretty impressive that my bad +2 fire one took me this far.
Grrind it event
We had a special event for crafting items that give a lot of crystals so for 2 weeks I will focus on that so there will be no stage progress. For better event results I’ve leveled up my two alts up to stage 200
Upgraded my ring > stage 275
I’ve said this multiple times but here I go again: defense is the most important stat in the campaign. Since the best source of it are the rings, I made my better wind one to +4.
No Pandora
Unfortunately OMS decided to put the Pandora mod on hold for now – or even give it up forever.
That means that I can no longer use the simulations to find out the cheapest ways to progress so this will really make this guide hard to continue, but I will do my best to reach at least stage 285.
New neck
It took quite a lot of sweeping to get to the level requirements but I can finally use the normal (non-elemental) necks. I bought an average one from the market and I made it to +2 myself.
Chronicles Commander tool
Since Pandora doesn’t work anymore and since I was pretty used to have some of the gameplay automated for this account, I started using Chronicles Commander which a pretty cool tool developed by FioX, one of the Community Leaders of Nine Chronicles.
It can automatically collect AP, fight stages and even craft items, all while taking no PC resources. So I can pretty much let it run all the time.
I beat stages 275 and 276
The new neck made the trick. I actually didn’t even knew I beat them because of the Chronicles Commander. I just set it up to repeat the stages so I can gather up the stars for the buff and I ended up with them passed.
Stage 277
Stage 277 required an S All Stats buff and food but I passed it too.
I can also take 1-2 stars all the time on 278. That means that I can beat it with the buff but more importantly it means that I will be able to equip normal rings soon – and I know for a fact that I will make some very fast progress as soon as I get those.
I can also use normal belts now but I haven’t got the time to scan the market and pick one.
Got NCG
I haven’t withdrawn NCG from the last 2 events so I have a pretty nice pile available.
In a way, I would find it best to gather up a bit more and stake 500. But since some players are following this guide for the gear suggestions I will most likely push some more and try to stake after I beat at least stage 280 – at that point I can equip all the possible items in the game.
Stage 278
I used an S Def Crit Spd buff and I passed it without changing any gears.
I will now sweep 279 until I reach char level 288 so I can use normal rings.
I also bought a Normal War Belt that will be handy for sure. I will make it +3 for now and see if it performs way better than the old one.
Stage 279
I bought a normal ring and i kept leveling up.
While I was leveling up I got enough stars for the crystal buff so I used an S Def Crit and food and I beat 279 without the normal ring.
Stages 280 and 281
I made the ring +3 and I beat 280 without a buff.
On 281 I used a SS def crit buff and food.
Stages 282 - 285
I made the normal ring +4 and the neck +4 and that was enough to reach 285 without buffs. I just let Chronicles Commander keep trying and looks like I didn’t need any buffs after all.
I staked 500 NCG 😛
Since the arena season was running and I had a few hundred NCG that I could delay spending, I decided to sell some rune fragments to get to the 500 staking – that will increase my arena rewards a lot and I can unstake it when world 7 comes to use that NCG.
Stages 286-290
I beat all of those without even paying attention without changing any gear because of this event – the game has been easier for around 2 weeks. I had chronicles commander set up on progress to gather stars and when i looked at it I was already on 290.
So the guide might be a bit of here but I think that I would have beaten them all with crystal buffs and the same gear anyway.
World 7 launch
The new world is available but it didn’t change the difficulty of World 6 – and it looks like we still need some “old” +7 items to get to it.
I can use the first sword but the prices are quite huge for now so I will wait until almost the end of the arena to get one – we are having the big championship so it would be nice to still finish in top 200 without buying extra tickets.
I will most likely take it slow from here on so don’t expect too many updates anytime soon 🙂
Got a new world 7 sword
There’s just 2 rounds left in the championship and i figured that this is a decent price already so I got a new sword and 3 fodders to go with it (21 NCG each).
I am now able to sweep 291 – I lacked around 10k CP for that.
I hope that I will manage to slowly get enough stars for a buff and that I will make it to 295 – at that point i can once again camp for a while to make 5 more levels and use the new belts.
Upgraded my sword
I slowly grinded up to level 301 and I was still not getting 1 star on 291 so I decided to make some upgrades to move further, since it’s a big waste to not get exp at this point.
I bought all the required fodder and made my sword up to +4. I paid around 19-20 NCG for each fodder so this was a very expensive process.
Even with the sword that is a huge boost I still can’t reliably get 1 star so I will make some more ugprades.
Bought a +7 spell ring
I just made the most expensive acquisition so far, but considering how much these used to cost and how late the next rings unlock (they require level 325), I could not resist it.
Stages 291-295
The new ring worked perfectly!
In just 2 AP bars I made it up to 295, without using any food or buffs. Amazing!
The extra defense helps me stay alive forever and once the attack buff is up i’m deadly. I lack speed and i could use a better bleed rune, but it worked so far.
This was my actual target since it allows me to level up to 305 so i can buy a world 7 belt at that point. But it looks like I can get stars on 396 so I might beat it too by using a buff.
If not, I just have to make 5 levels and get that belt. That’s just 5*600 exp, at a rate of 72 per day, so… a lot
